1. Identity of the Data Controller

2. Methods of Collection
Personal data may be collected through membership and subscription forms, website use, payment and billing processes, email/communication channels, cookies, server/application logs and other lawful electronic or non-electronic methods. The data and channel used may vary according to the actual technical infrastructure.
3. Categories, Purposes and Legal Grounds
Identity and contact data (name, surname, username, email, billing/contact information): account creation, conclusion and performance of the subscription contract, provision of Services, transaction/security notices and lawful billing. The legal ground is the applicable KVKK Article 5 condition for the specific processing, particularly performance of a contract and compliance with legal obligations.
Financial/transaction data (invoice amount, payment status, order and subscription information): payment, accounting, billing, refunds and dispute management. The legal ground is, where applicable, a legal obligation and performance of a contract.
Transaction-security and technical data (IP address, login times, device/browser information, logs and necessary cookie identifiers): security, prevention of fraud and account abuse, system operation and error detection. The legal ground is the applicable KVKK Article 5 condition for the specific processing; where legitimate interest is used, the necessary balancing with fundamental rights and freedoms is observed.
Turkish national ID number, passport number or tax ID is processed only where genuinely necessary and supported by a lawful basis; it is not assumed to be routinely requested from every customer.
4. Payment Data
Card numbers, expiry dates and CVV codes are entered only in the Paddle checkout and processed by Paddle.com, the Merchant of Record for subscription orders. IslamicMacro does not receive or store them.
5. Data Transfers
Personal data may be shared, in accordance with law, with actual service providers used for service delivery and legal obligations, accounting/tax advisers, payment providers, hosting and email providers, information-security services and competent public authorities. Only providers actually used and necessary data categories are considered.
6. Transfers Abroad
Where personal data is transferred abroad, the mechanism applicable under KVKK Article 9 and secondary legislation will be used. Depending on the circumstances, this may include transfer to an adequate country, an appropriate safeguard such as a Board-published standard contract, or a statutory incidental-transfer mechanism.
7. Cookies
We use only strictly necessary cookies (a sign-in session cookie and a security token) and one browser storage entry that remembers your cookie-banner choice. See the Cookie Policy for the list.
8. Retention
Personal data is retained for the period necessary for the processing purpose, the contractual relationship, tax/accounting obligations, dispute and limitation periods and other legal requirements; after the required period it is securely deleted, destroyed or anonymized.
9. Data Subject Rights
You may exercise the rights under KVKK Article 11. Applications may be submitted in accordance with the applicable procedure to info@islamicmacro.com or our registered address. Subject to statutory requirements, applications are concluded within no later than thirty days. Reasonable information and documents may be requested to verify the applicant’s identity.
If your application is rejected, the response is insufficient or we do not respond in time, you may lodge a complaint with the Personal Data Protection Board (Kişisel Verileri Koruma Kurulu) under KVKK Article 14, within thirty days of our response and in any case within sixty days of your application.
10. Customers Outside Türkiye
For persons outside Türkiye, additional obligations arising under applicable foreign data-protection laws are also considered. This Notice does not purport to remove mandatory rights in another jurisdiction.
If you are in the EU/EEA, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent data protection supervisory authority in your country of residence, place of work or place of the alleged infringement; in the UK, with the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO).
